The Noteworthy Luxury Assets of a Yerevan MP: What Arsenyan Declared

The wealthy declaration of the National Assembly member from the ruling party, Gurgen Arsenyan, has drawn attention as he arrived at work today driving his Bentley luxury vehicle. According to Yerevan Today, the automobile, manufactured in 2019, is valued at approximately $500,000 at the time of purchase.

We present Arsenyan's assets based on his declaration submitted in May 2022. According to the declaration, he has around 17 real estate properties, including buildings and land in both Yerevan and various regions of Armenia.

The declaration lists 4 vehicles manufactured between 2014 and 2019, with the last being the aforementioned Bentley, which Arsenyan acquired in 2020. He also declared securities and investments worth 7 million Armenian drams.

Additionally, in 2021, he acquired securities from an American company located at New York’s Nasdaq, with the price of these securities at the end of the year amounting to 6 million USD.

In total, the MP has provided loans of around 60 million drams and more than 2.6 million dollars to various individuals and companies. Arsenyan's declaration is noteworthy for its luxury assets. The oligarch from the ruling party has a particular fondness for collections of paintings, one of which is valued at approximately 236 million drams.

He owns valuable watches worth a total of 133 million 300 thousand Armenian drams, and a gold ingot purchased in 2020, valued at 32 million drams. Meanwhile, his furniture collection is worth a total of 199 million drams and 300 thousand USD.

Regarding monetary assets, at the end of 2021, Arsenyan had 4.7 million drams and 502,367 USD on his bank card, while his cash amounted to 540,000 drams, 540,000 USD, and 2,000 euros.

Overall, during the year, he earned a total income of 282,082,560 Armenian drams. Over the course of the year, he spent 25 thousand USD on vacations, as well as expending 25 million drams within that same year.
