Scholz: Putin Has Prepared for This for At Least a Year

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been preparing for the war with Ukraine for at least a year. Therefore, he will be able to wage war for a "long time." This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

When asked how long the war might last, Scholz noted that no one really knows, but Putin's long-term plan suggests that he is ready for prolonged military operations. He pointed out that many people live in Russia and the country has significant resources.

"I believe that the decision to start this war was made a year before it actually began, or perhaps even earlier, as he was preparing for it. And so, he will be able to continue the war for a very long time," said the German chancellor.
