I Resign from My Position: Mamijanyan's Statement

For about a year, I have been the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by MP Hayk Mamijanyan of the National Assembly's 'Honorary' faction on his Facebook page.

'Considering parliamentary diplomacy as a key tool for effectively presenting the interests of Armenia and Artsakh on appropriate international platforms, I have tried to utilize it as efficiently as possible. Taking into account the political and moral crisis created by the ruling majority, I have decided to resign from my position as Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly, while continuing to dedicate my knowledge and networks to the benefit of our homeland, including through the use of parliamentary and party diplomacy tools.'
