Video: "If they were to undress, it would be a disgusting sight". Putin comments on humor about himself
Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on statements made by G7 leaders, who expressed desire to undress or remove their jackets to appear "cooler."
“I don’t know how they wanted to undress—up to the waist or below the waist, but I think it would be a disgusting sight in any case. If we remember Pushkin, I might mix up the words or details, but as I understand it, he said that you can be a reasonable person, but think about the beauty of your nails. Therefore, I certainly agree with this, a person should develop harmoniously in every aspect—both the soul and the body,” Putin stated.
He also emphasized the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle, engaging in physical culture and sports, and avoiding alcohol abuse and other bad habits in order to look good in photos and in life. According to him, all leaders of G7 participating countries know him personally, and he is confident that any of them would achieve success if they wished.
“All these people are leaders, they have character, and if they want, they will certainly achieve the success they desire. But you must work on yourself. And the fact that they talk about it is good, I commend it,” the Russian President remarked.
