"The Central Bank Lied to My Face, They Are Trapping Us", Businessman Sounds Alarm
Businessman Samson Grigoryan has once again addressed the issue of activating POS terminals on cash register machines, a challenge that many entrepreneurs are facing. He specifically wrote: "The Central Bank, looking into my eyes, lied and misled us. They claimed that two banks would offer better conditions—1 percent, 1.7 percent, a maximum of 2 percent. There is no such thing..."
Samson Grigoryan asserts that the Central Bank has ordered all other banks not to provide POS services and not to activate them.
"I regret that I trusted them. Dear entrepreneurs, I could never have imagined such a thing, but the reality is that they are trapping us while deceiving us," the businessman concluded.
It is worth noting that as early as the beginning of June, entrepreneurs raised their voices in protest, indicating that Armenian banks, at the request of the Central Bank, have refused to activate POS terminals on cash register machines acquired by entrepreneurs years ago, and are demanding the purchase of different model devices.
