“Let’s Give Up Berdzor and Aghavno, Raise Benefits and Minimum Wage” - Hovsepyan

Former MP from the ‘My Step’ faction Sofia Hovsepyan responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement during the government meeting that starting next January, it will be possible to raise the minimum wage, pensions, and benefits for childcare for children under two years old.

“Let’s give up Berdzor and Aghavno, and let’s raise benefits and the minimum wage. And they will be silent since the income will increase by 5000 drams,” she wrote.

It should be noted that in parallel, an alternative road is being constructed to replace Berdzor (Lachin), which is intended to connect Armenia to Artsakh. If this alternative road is operational, Berdzor and Aghavno will pass to Azerbaijan. These are areas where Armenians live.
