27-Year-Old Neighbor Stabs 67-Year-Old Man During Argument

On June 29, at 7:00 PM, the police received a report from a hospital that a 67-year-old man had been admitted with a penetrating stab wound to the chest. This was reported by the police press service.

Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by the criminal investigators of the Vagharshapat division, it was determined that on June 29, around 6:30 PM, during an argument in the backyard of one of the houses on Baghramyan Street in Ejmiatsin, a 27-year-old resident of the same street attacked the 67-year-old man with a sharp cutting and stabbing instrument.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 112 of the RA Criminal Code (Deliberately Causing Serious Harm to Health). The 27-year-old was located, detained, and taken to the Vagharshapat police division, where he was presented to the investigative body and provided a confession. The weapon used in the crime has been found. Forensic examinations have been ordered. An investigation is underway.
