26-Year-Old Russian Citizen Attempts Suicide from Ninth Floor of Mashtots Avenue

On June 30, at 01:14, the National Center for Crisis Management received an alert that a citizen in Yerevan was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the balcony of a ninth-floor apartment on Mashtots Avenue.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers, in coordination with citizens, successfully prevented Russian citizen R.N. (born 1996) from attempting suicide. The psychologist provided psychological support on site.
