Suspicious Object Resembling a Bomb Discovered During Water Line Excavation in Yerevan

Today, June 29, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 14:10, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a report that workers digging a water line near house number 48/1 on Fanarjian Street had discovered a suspicious object resembling a bomb.

According to shamshyan.com, the area has been cordoned off for the safety of citizens.

A patrol unit from the Kanaker-Zeytun police department also arrived at the scene. The bomb squad safely transported the suspicious object to a secure location for further disposal.
