Albert Vardanyan Defeats Turkish Rival 7:0

In the European Youth Wrestling Championship, Armenian wrestler Albert Vardanyan secured a bronze medal in the 130 kg weight category. His opponent was Turkish wrestler Talip Çiftçi, whom the Armenian athlete defeated with a score of 7:0.

In his opening match, Albert Vardanyan lost 2:3 to Ukrainian Mykhailo Vishnevskyi, who progressed to the finals. In the consolation match, Vardanyan won decisively against Czech wrestler Arthur Sargsyan with a score of 9:0, earning the right to compete for the bronze medal.
