Turkey to Send Free Bayraktar Drones to Ukrainian Front
Turkey's Baykar Makina company has announced its intention to donate three Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine free of charge. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“Business people and ordinary citizens have invested large and small sums over the past few days to achieve this goal. Baykar will not accept payment for the TB2s and will send three drones to the Ukrainian front at no cost,” the Turkish company stated in its announcement.
The Bayraktar TB2 is a model of Turkish strike drone that is widely used by Ukrainian forces. The exact number of these drones purchased by Kyiv remains unknown.
