Parents of Captives Stage Protest Outside Russian Consulate in Gyumri

Relatives of captives held in Khndzoresk are currently staging a protest in front of the Russian consulate building in Gyumri. They are demanding the release of their loved ones, stating that the young men were captured in an area under the control of Russian peacekeeping forces and with their complicity.

This is reported by factor.am. The relatives are holding placards with messages such as “Where were you, Russian peacekeepers?” and “Return our boys.” According to one of the employees of the consulate, the Russian consul is not currently in the building and suggested that they form a group of three and return after 2 PM to meet with him.

The relatives of the captives declared that they will wait and not leave until the consul arrives and hears their demands.
