Gabrielyan on the Postponement of the Gun Law Draft

Vilen Gabrielyan, a member of the "Citizen's Decision" faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, wrote on his Facebook page: "The adoption of the draft law on the regulation of the circulation of weapons has been postponed until the autumn session for technical reasons, and there is no longer any need to work on its content.

Currently, I am working on several important legislative initiatives related to various sectors—security, traffic, and even noise.

Another very important legislative initiative is the Maritime Law, which was initially drafted by former National Assembly member and current Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Pambukhchyan. You may smile and say, 'Where do we have a sea?', but I would advise studying international law and experience.

That being said, I want to mention that if there are any narrow sector specialists or experts—economists, international law specialists, or lawyers—who wish to contribute on a voluntary basis, I will not only welcome such support but will be immensely grateful so that we can develop this important draft project for the security sector together."
