According to him, there are currently 25 individuals with accused procedural status in this criminal case.
“In addition, with a sufficient combination of evidence obtained, 10 criminal cases concerning 29 individuals have been separated from the criminal case and sent to the Yerevan First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction with an accusatory conclusion. In five of these criminal cases, a verdict of conviction has been rendered against 9 individuals. An appeal has been filed against the ruling by the defense attorney, based on which the Court of Appeals of the Republic of Armenia has decided to partially satisfy the attorney's appeal and assign a penalty lower than the minimum prescribed by the relevant article, namely, a 2-year imprisonment sentence.
Against this judicial act, the prosecutor's office has submitted a cassation appeal.
In another criminal case, through expedited proceedings, the accused was sentenced to a fine of 150,000 AMD for illegally taking possession of a vehicle without the intent to steal.
