Evacuations Underway for Citizens in Some Villages of Georgia

In the Dusheti municipality of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, evacuations have begun for citizens due to heavy rains and restricted road traffic, as reported by the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA). The evacuations are being carried out using helicopters from the Border Police.

According to the information, evacuations are taking place from the villages of Korsha, Roska, Barisakho, and Chargli. To safely relocate citizens from these areas, workers from the Fire and Rescue Service have been immediately engaged in the process, with Border Police helicopters joining the rescue operations this morning.
