Hailstorm Lasting 40 Minutes in Martakert Causes Material Damage

A hailstorm lasting approximately 40 minutes in the upper region of Martakert has caused material damage to the local population. In home gardens and orchards, the hail has flattened vegetable crops and fruit trees, damaged electrical wires, and affected the roofs and windows of residential houses. A power pole fell and landed on a car, and three other vehicles were also damaged.

The hail layer reached 2 cm in the village of Zardakhach and 3 cm in Verin Horatagh, accompanied by strong winds. The heaviest hail fell in Haterk, where the layer reached 5 cm. Damage assessment work is being carried out in the communities.
