Extraordinary Incident: A Bee Stings a Driver, He Loses Control of His Vehicle and Crashes into a Tree

Today, on June 25, an extraordinary incident occurred in Vayots Dzor Province. Around 10:30, a 37-year-old resident of Yerevan, Arshavir Poghosyan, lost control of his Chevrolet Pickup while driving on the Yerevan-Meghri highway at the 109 km mark. He veered off the roadway and, continuing for about 3 meters, crashed into a tree.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, following the accident, driver A. Poghosyan was taken to the "Yeghegnadzor" medical center with bodily injuries. He was extricated from the vehicle by rescue workers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations using specialized equipment and transported to the ambulance waiting at the Yeghegnadzor hospital.

Materials are being prepared regarding the accident. According to preliminary information, the cause of the accident was that while driving, the driver was stung by a bee.
