Tigran Ulikhanyan Leaves QP Party, Citing Unmet Ambitions

The former head of the State Control Service and former MP Tigran Ulikhanyan has announced his departure from the "Civil Contract" party.

"On June 7, 2022, I submitted my application to the chairman of the QP party to terminate my membership. I had essentially made this decision back on May 4, but I had not started the documentation process to ensure it would not be associated with current political events in any way. The reason is quite simple. In my view, citizens create political entities or join them to gain the opportunity to pursue their political goals and ambitions. I have noted that the QP party has ceased to serve those ambitions. Therefore, I must seek another platform to fulfill these goals and aspirations. Since its establishment, I have traversed an important and interesting political path with the QP party. I would like to thank my former colleagues in the QP party, members of the QP board, including the chairman Suren Papikyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, for the opportunities provided during these years. I wish the QP party success," Ulikhanyan wrote on Facebook.
