21-Year-Old Enters Metro With Illegally Held Firearm
On June 23, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department apprehended a 21-year-old male in the lobby of the Republic Square metro station on suspicion of carrying and possessing a weapon and ammunition. During a personal search, a gas revolver loaded with four cartridges was found in his possession without authorization.
A forensic and ballistic examination has been ordered. The necessary materials are being prepared.
