‘Proshyantsi Multon’ Attempts Suicide in Armavir Prison

On June 9, around 00:30, personnel from the Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service noticed during a routine check at the ‘Armavir’ correctional facility that Tigran Hovhannisyan, an inmate in quarantine conditions and currently on hunger strike in cell number 5, had tied his sheet to the window bars and was attempting to harm himself.

According to shamshyan.com, the prison staff quickly opened the cell door and discovered that Hovhannisyan was trying to commit suicide by hanging, and they were able to prevent the attempt.
