Lawyer Steps Out of Investigative Committee: What Awaits Galeyan's Uncle
Earlier today, Vahan Hovhannisyan, the lawyer for Arthur Galeyan, uncle of the fallen soldier Mkhtiar Galeyan from the 44-day war, emerged from the Investigative Committee.
“We were summoned today for a supplementary questioning of Arthur Galeyan. Moreover, the investigator informed us that the criminal case has been transferred from the Military Investigative Directorate to the Investigative Committee. We asked what the reason was for this, and the investigator replied that he was not aware of the reasons,” said the lawyer, indicating that they suspect the motive behind the case transfer is not legal.
“The objective is to achieve desired outcomes for a specific commander within this case,” the lawyer emphasized.
When asked what the desired outcomes are, the lawyer responded: “To send the case to court with an accusatory conclusion, and subsequently, an accusatory verdict.”
