What Vanetsyan and Ohanyan Discussed Before Vanetsyan Resigned from His Mandate
The head of the National Assembly faction "Honorary Member," and the president of the "Homeland" party, Arthur Vanetsyan, called the leader of the "Armenia" faction Seyran Ohanyan before announcing his resignation from his parliamentary mandate. Ohanyan personally informed 24News about this.
“First of all, let me say that there were such rumors circulating on the Internet, but today Vanetsyan personally called me and said that he had made such a decision before announcing it. He also expressed his gratitude for our joint activities in the National Assembly, as well as for the measures carried out within the framework of the 'Resistance' movement. He said that we are together, we are in the fight, and we will not stop fighting for the goals of the 'Resistance' movement,” Ohanyan said.
“So, when he called, it wasn’t a surprise; the rumors had already been circulating,” the parliament member emphasized.
When asked whether it is possible that members from the 'Armenia' faction might also resign from their mandates, Ohanyan responded, “We have not yet discussed such an issue.”
It should be noted that today Arthur Vanetsyan made an announcement on his Facebook page about submitting a resignation request for his parliamentary mandate.
