Su-25 Fighter Jet Crashes in Rostov, Casualties Reported

A Su-25 fighter jet has crashed in the Rostov region during a training flight, as reported by Interfax. According to a statement from the press service of the Southern Military District, the pilot has died.

The military stated that the flight was conducted without munitions, and the aircraft fell into a deserted area.

"Preliminary information suggests that a technical malfunction could have been the cause of the incident. A commission from the Russian Aerospace Forces is currently working on-site," the Southern Military District reported.
