Aram Vardevanyan's Objective Observations on the BDC-Jhangiryan Situation

Member of the National Assembly from the 'Armenia' faction, Aram Vardevanyan, writes on his Facebook page:

“From a legal perspective, there are several undeniable points regarding the situation involving BDC-Jhangiryan. While I have a number of subjective observations, let us limit ourselves to the objective:

1) Criminal prosecution should be initiated against Gagik Jhangiryan.

2) Gagik Jhangiryan cannot participate in the disciplinary proceedings regarding Ruben Vardazaryan, including in decision-making processes. Considering the first point, Jhangiryan's powers must inevitably be suspended, and this will affect all proceedings.

3) The reputation of the judicial system, especially the BDC, and the legitimacy of the 2021 elections have suffered irreversible damage.”
