Pashinyan Discusses Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict with US Assistant Secretary of State
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has discussed processes in the South Caucasus region and the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during a meeting with Karen Donfried, the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. This information was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
"The head of the Armenian government emphasized the importance of strengthening stability and peace in the region and highlighted the need for an adequate response from the international community to provocative statements and actions that undermine regional stability. At the same time, Pashinyan underlined the key role of the United States as a co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group and stressed the importance of a comprehensive resolution process for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of co-chairmanship of the Minsk Group," the statement said.
Pashinyan and Donfried also discussed the activities of the delimitation and border security commission between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
