Video: 'They admitted that they have not fulfilled their obligations,' President on Russian side
During a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Russia, President Vahagn Khachaturyan stated that we encountered issues in the direction of Parukh village in February-March. Until now, under still unclear circumstances, Azerbaijanis were able to seize certain heights in the presence of Russian peacekeepers.
“I have also participated in those discussions. We have taken a very firm stance, and as a result of that stance, the Russian side ultimately admitted that there is a deficiency there. They are now conducting an internal investigation to understand what the reason is. But during their internal discussions, they admitted that they did not fulfill their obligations,” he said.
According to Vahagn Khachaturyan, the situation was so tense that the people of Artsakh had set a condition that if the peacekeepers cannot ensure their safety, they would return to Armenia.
