Will Jennifer Lopez Come to Armenia? - 'Hraparak'

According to 'Hraparak' newspaper, within the framework of the 'Haya' festival, world-renowned stars are expected to arrive in Armenia soon to perform a solo concert. On June 25, the internationally acclaimed French singer Zaz will hold a concert in Yerevan, followed by rapper 50Cent's show scheduled for July 1.

Sona Hovhannisyan, founder of the 'Haya' festival and the 'Yerevan Perspectives' project, mentioned in an interview that this is just the beginning, as negotiations are ongoing with other global stars to bring them to Armenia as well. For instance, they are currently in talks with Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias, and also with Shakira for the future. At the moment, negotiations are focused on Lopez and Iglesias, with plans to host them in Yerevan this autumn.

"Right now, I think it would be better if one comes now while the other stays for next year. We are negotiating for Lopez during the first week of October," she stated, noting that they have already reached a contractual phase with both and are waiting for positive responses every day.

Hovhannisyan also pointed out that these stars will be visiting our region for the first time, and have not toured neighboring countries like Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Iran, which has particularly fueled jealousy among Azerbaijanis.
