Nikol Pashinyan Sets an Olympic Record for Lying in Parliament for 35 Minutes and 24 Seconds: Naira Zohrabyan
Nikol Pashinyan today set an Olympic record for lying in Parliament for 35 minutes and 24 seconds. This was reported by Naira Zohrabyan on her Facebook page.
“Speaking exclusively for his backpack and the 'made in Tigranakert' audience, Nikol shattered all possible lie detectors. Today's speech by Nikol in the National Assembly should undoubtedly find its place in anti-political science textbooks, illustrating how to distract and manipulate a segment that has the unacceptable right to choose and vote, in order to organize the surrender of Artsakh to Azerbaijan with necessary packaging and colorful wrapping,” she wrote.
“So, just a few remarks. If Artsakh was already surrendered to Azerbaijan in 2016, then why did Aliyev stubbornly refuse to take the Artsakh he claims was surrendered to him and stated that the international community was forcing him to recognize Artsakh's independence behind closed doors? If Artsakh was already surrendered to Azerbaijan before the Pashinyan era, what were the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group doing accepting five declarations on Nagorno-Karabakh resolution, affirming fundamental principles, including the right of peoples to self-determination? Not to mention the 30-year anniversary of the OSCE Minsk Group's work. If Artsakh was already given to Azerbaijan before his appearance, what was Nikol negotiating about regarding the surrendered Artsakh?” she continued.
“In reality, today’s show-party was organized for one sentence, which was: ‘Any status that ensures the safety of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh should be considered a solution for us.’ Because, as the 'people's prime minister' continued in his next sentence, ‘The peace agreement is not a guarantee that the peace agenda will succeed, but the opposite will lead not only to the destruction of Nagorno-Karabakh but also of Armenia.’ And this translates into one simple compound sentence with an anti-Armenian idea: ‘Artsakh will be part of Azerbaijan, and that’s the end of it.’ Therefore, long live our children, who will live in a non-Artsakh and in a Turk-infested Armenia,” Zohrabyan concluded.
