At Least Two Votes Falsified in the CPP: 'Haykakan Jamanak'

The newspaper 'Haykakan Jamanak' reports: 'The voting on the execution of last year's budget took place yesterday in parliament following the Tigran Mukuchyan principle. According to the official website of the National Assembly, there were 68 votes in favor, 0 against, and 0 abstentions, despite the fact that at least 10 members were absent from the 71-member faction, which has been noted on the official website itself.

Yesterday, members Rustam Bakoyan, Mariam Poghosyan, Narek Babayan, and Gevorg Papoyan were on a mission in Tehran, led by the Speaker of the National Assembly. Let us assume that these members had previously submitted a written notice regarding their voting; however, the official news from the parliament does not mention anything regarding the absence of other members. For instance, Marina Ghazaryan, Sergey Bagratyan, Gurgin Arsenyan, and Sona Ghazaryan were not on any mission but were also absent from the session, meaning they could not cast a written vote, while Eduard Aghajanyan did not vote at all. Simple addition and subtraction show that at least 2 votes were falsified in the CPP, perhaps to avoid the impression that they were disrespectful towards Prime Minister Pashinyan's report.' Further details in today's issue of the newspaper.
