There Are Countries Waiting for the Opportunity to Finalize Issues Related to Armenia: MP

The crisis in the Indo-Pacific region is developing rapidly. This was stated by MP Tigran Abrahamyan on Facebook.

"The situation around Taiwan, China's determination to not allow those supporting Taiwan, and in some cases provoking forces, to interfere in the regional situation promises new processes. The West is trying to form an anti-Chinese bloc around this conflict, but America's main allies in the region, Japan and Australia, are approaching the issue quite cautiously, as they believe that any potential military actions by China towards Taiwan will not bypass them. Despite the formation of an anti-Russian alliance around the situation in Ukraine, this has more of a political-propaganda nature, even though more than a dozen countries have joined various sanctions against the Russian Federation and actively support Ukraine. On the other hand, the laws of counteraction are fully in motion, and in the case of some countries, those applying sanctions are suffering more than Russia itself.

The existence of the Russia-China strategic alliance and especially the recent revisions have begun to seriously concern all countries that have traditionally operated in this direction. The coordinated conduct of their political strategies by Russia and China sends a message to all geopolitical centers that there will be no retreat in defending and strengthening their positions.

It is no coincidence that many countries are adopting policies of revising their arsenals and sharply increasing military budgets, which is bound to explode in some corner of the world. Naturally, these developments on such a scale cannot fail to concern Armenia, as countries from the east and west are waiting for a convenient opportunity to fulfill their strategic objectives and finally close issues related to Armenia.

Regardless of the quality of negotiations taking place with Turkey and Azerbaijan, should favorable conditions arise, they would fulfill their claims through the use of force or the threat of it. In the current conditions of power, it makes no sense to discuss what Armenia should do to not emerge from the ongoing major geopolitical shifts with at least a minimum loss," he wrote.
