The US Has Already Provided Ukraine with $5.6 Billion in Military Aid, Says White House
Since the beginning of the Russian military operations, the United States has allocated $5.6 billion in military aid to Ukraine, stated John Kirby, the National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the White House.
"The total amount of military aid we have provided to Ukraine (since the beginning of the Russian military operations) is approximately $5.6 billion as of the end of February," Kirby said during a press briefing.
He noted that since President Joe Biden took office, total assistance has reached approximately $6.3 billion. Earlier, Biden announced a new package of $1 billion in military aid for Kyiv.
