No One Can Guarantee That the Peace Agenda Will Succeed: Prime Minister

No one can guarantee that the peace agenda will succeed, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a speech in Parliament.

According to him, his government is trying to follow the path of peace, but no one can assure that it will be successful, as peace is not a one-sided movement but the result of cooperation. “We have no illusions and see that the number of those who wish to destroy us is large, even larger than one might assume. The peace agenda is an attempt to manage and neutralize the desires of those who want to annihilate us,” said Pashinyan.

He added that this path is accompanied by insults, accusations, threats, dangers, and losses both domestically and externally. “We have the will and determination to follow this path, despite the fact that no one can guarantee success,” Pashinyan emphasized.

According to him, the alternative path to peace leads not only to the destruction of Nagorno-Karabakh but also to Armenia's downfall, thus he urged the public to unite around this agenda.
