Unacceptable are the so-called 'corridor' formulations: Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who is on an official visit to the State of Qatar, gave an interview to Al Jazeera on June 13, during which he addressed the so-called 'corridor' issue.

The relevant section of the topic is as follows:

Question - Al Jazeera: What is Armenia's approach and position on the corridor that is supposed to connect Azerbaijan and Turkey through your country's territory?

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan: You know, for us, the so-called 'corridor' formulations are unacceptable, and this is a red line for us. Because in our region, according to the trilateral statement, which I mentioned at the beginning of our conversation, we have one corridor, and that is the Lachin corridor, which connects Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia. But in our trilateral statement, we also have another provision regarding the opening of communications. I mean railways, roads, and we are ready and are actually already discussing the issue of opening regional communications based on the principles of mutual sovereignty and respect for the inviolability of borders.
