Four-Day Sessions Have Begun in Parliament

Four-day regular sessions have begun in Parliament, with a total of 22 issues on the agenda. This includes amendments to the "Law on the Prosecution" and an addition to the "Law on Drugs and Psychotropic Substances", along with a package of related legislative proposals and a number of other legislative initiatives.

Also on the agenda is the discussion of the annual report on the execution of the Republic of Armenia's 2021 state budget.

It is noteworthy that only the ruling Civil Contract faction is participating in the sessions and is solely adopting new laws, while the opposition factions "Armenia" and "I Have Honor" are boycotting the sessions and have begun street protests demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
