He emphasized the value and strength of the age-old traditions and spiritual foundations that have been reinforced throughout Russia's history and passed down by ancestors. “Unity, devotion to the homeland, and responsibility towards it have been bequeathed by our ancestors. We know how great the power of these age-old traditions, moral values, and spiritual foundations is. They were born and fortified throughout Russia's millennial history and today unite our multi-ethnic people, for whom the sincere and profound feeling of patriotism has always been and remains sacred,” Putin remarked.
