5.5 million drams to send one official to Amsterdam
The Civil Aviation Committee, led by Tatevik Revazyan, has decided to purchase new multifunctional quality management and safety management systems for 5.3 million drams. The purpose of this acquisition is to address existing shortcomings in the aviation sector and to transition to a new management model.
This is not all; to effectively implement these new systems, there is a need to retrain the Committee's specialists. According to 168.am, the head of the Flight Operations Department of the Civil Aviation Committee, Aram Yeghoyan, will be traveling to Amsterdam for 5 days to participate in the "Ramp Inspection On-the-Job Training (OJT)" course.
It is noteworthy that a budget of 5 million 500 thousand drams has been allocated from the state budget for Yeghoyan's trip to Amsterdam from June 13 to 17. An additional 2 million drams will be allocated for the trips of other Committee employees. This additional funding has become necessary as it turns out that the budget allocated for travel expenses in 2022 is insufficient.
In total, the necessary amount of 12 million 850 thousand drams will be funded by cutting the amounts allocated from the 2022 budget for the oversight and regulation of the aviation sector and the provision of aviation services.
