Ukrainian Forces Have Lost Approximately 10,000 Soldiers Since War Began

Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych, has reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost approximately 10,000 soldiers since the start of the war with Russia, according to iz.ru.

“At the beginning of the conflict, we averaged 100 deaths per day,” he stated.

When asked if this tally could suggest that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost up to 10,000 soldiers during the military operations, the presidential advisor affirmed, “Yes, approximately that much.”

Arestovych also highlighted the slow pace of arms supply to Ukraine from Western nations. Previously, Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the Head of the Office of President Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Ukraine is losing 100-200 soldiers daily. He attributed this to the “lack of parity in capabilities”. He added that Kyiv requires hundreds of artillery systems and up to 300 missile systems from the West.
