Major Car Accident: One of the Injured is a 2-Year-Old Child

On June 10, at 16:06, a call was received at the Lori regional crisis management center reporting a traffic accident near the "Univermag" supermarket in Vanadzor. There were reports of a citizen being trapped.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reports that a firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue department. It was discovered that vehicles of the brands "Lada" (driver L. M., born in 1954) and "Mercedes C" (driver M. T., born in 1993) collided near house number 1 on Halabyan Street in Vanadzor, resulting in the hospitalization of passengers from the "Mercedes C" vehicle: G. A. (born in 1974), E. T. (born in 1995), A. Q. (born in 2020), as well as the driver of the "Lada" vehicle.

All of them were admitted to the Vanadzor hospital, where they received appropriate medical care and were later discharged. Additionally, H. H. (born in 2002), a passenger in the "Lada" vehicle, was trapped in the car. Firefighters used special equipment to rescue H. H. from the trap and he was also hospitalized at the Vanadzor hospital.
