Group Brawl Ends in Stabbing: The Assailant Was a 15-Year-Old Boy

On June 8, at 16:25, a resident of the village of Rya Taza in the Aragatsotn Province called the police to report that a family from their village had attacked them, and that unpredictable consequences might follow.

The police reported that an operational group from the Aragats division, dispatched to Rya Taza, determined that during a dispute over the use of pastureland in the administrative territory of the Mirak village, a group of residents from Rya Taza had engaged in a fight, inflicting bodily injuries on each other. Following the altercation, a 36-year-old man struck a 27-year-old young man with a cutting tool.

Those injured in the altercation were transported to a hospital. A forensic examination has been ordered.

As a result of further actions taken by the Aragats division police, it was revealed that the 27-year-old who had been stabbed was attacked by the 15-year-old son of the 36-year-old man. The teenager was summoned to the Aragats division police where he provided a confessional statement.
