Zakharova Discusses Flight Ban for Lavrov's Airplane

Europeans attempted to demonstrate their unity by banning the flight of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's airplane to Serbia. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during an appearance on Match TV.

Zakharova emphasized that Russia's international contacts cannot be obstructed.

Lavrov's visit to Belgrade was scheduled for June 6-7. It was reported on Sunday that Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Montenegro refused to provide an air corridor for the Russian minister's airplane. On Monday, Lavrov stated that Moscow considers the decision of several European countries to be unprecedented and foolish.
