Former YSU Rector Aram Simonian Passes Away
Former Yerevan State University Rector Aram Simonian has passed away. Aram Simonian was a historian, publicist, and a distinguished figure in the science of the Republic of Armenia.
He authored 85 scientific works, including 4 monographs. He served as rector of Yerevan State University from 2015 until his resignation on May 23, 2019. Aram Simonian was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia and participated in numerous international and national conferences. He was married and had two daughters.
