Collision Involving Nissan Murano and Opel Zafira Results in One Fatality and Two Injured

Today, June 7, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Armavir region. At approximately 1:30 AM, a collision took place between an Opel, driven by 22-year-old Vardan Azatyan, and a Nissan Murano, driven by 26-year-old Hripsime Khachatryan, on the Yerevan-Armavir highway at the 14.5 km mark.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, Hripsime Khachatryan was pronounced dead at the scene, while her passenger, 34-year-old Marianna Avagyan, and a passenger in the Opel, 22-year-old David Shahinyan, were transported to the Vagarshapat medical center with bodily injuries.

Shamshyan also reports that the Nissan veered off the roadway while heading towards Vagarshapat and collided with the wall of a building.
