8 million and 4 million dram ring and necklace: What assets have Ishkhan Saghatelyan and his wife declared?

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and leader of the "Resistance" movement, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, has submitted a declaration regarding his assets as of 2021. Tert.am reports on this matter.

Saghatelyan has declared ten real estate properties; he is the sole owner of one, holds a 50% ownership share in another, and manages eight other properties as joint ownership. He is the sole owner of an apartment located in Arabkir, has a shared ownership in an apartment in the Center community of Yerevan, and is a joint owner of eight plots of land in the Gegharkunik region.

In 2021, he sold a 2009 Range Rover vehicle for 8.5 million dram. In 2019, he received a ring worth 8 million dram as a gift, which is still in his possession. He has declared 2 million 656 thousand dram in his bank account and 56 million dram in cash, along with 92,000 USD and 28,000 EUR.

As his employment income, he stated 4 million 221 thousand dram from the National Assembly. As of December 31 of the reporting year, the remaining balance of loans and borrowings is about 52 million dram, with approximately 12 million dram being allocated annually for loan repayments.

Saghatelyan holds a 100% share in "I-MEGA Service" LLC, 100% in "Invest Hotel Group" LLC, 50% in "Massaka" LLC, and 100% in "Ariana Hotel" LLC. His wife, Liana Khachatryan, is a co-owner of an apartment in the Center community of Yerevan, owns a garage in the Center community as well, and has a plot of land in Geghamavan, Gegharkunik.

In 2017, she acquired a Toyota vehicle, which is still in her possession in 2021. She has a 2.5 million dram loan. In 2019, she received a necklace worth 4 million dram as a gift. She has declared 70,000 dram in her bank account and 19 USD, while holding 75,000 USD, 32 million dram, and 22,000 EUR in cash.

Her income from employment is stated as 620,000 dram from "Grigor Narekatsi" Medical Center, and she has spent 2 million 138 thousand dram for recreation. Thus, Ishkhan Saghatelyan and his wife have approximately 100 million dram, 167 thousand USD, and 50,000 EUR in total cash and non-cash assets combined.
