Video: Azerbaijan Canceled Quintet Meeting Just Hours Before It Was Set to Take Place, Mirzoyan Says
During a joint session of parliamentary committees, Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the discussion of the execution of the 2021 budget. Addressing the meetings held during the reporting year, Mirzoyan informed that a meeting in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs was planned from December 1 to 3 in Stockholm, but the Azerbaijani side canceled it.
"The Azerbaijani side canceled the quintet meeting just hours before it was set to take place. Moreover, prior to that, during separate meetings, the co-chairs had presented a clear negotiation agenda to the parties... The general attitude of Azerbaijan toward the format and mandate of the co-chairs, in our opinion, became the main reason for the cancellation of the Stockholm meeting," Mirzoyan noted.
