Why Biden and His Wife Were Evacuated from Their Home

U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were evacuated from their home on June 4 for a short period while on vacation. This was reported by Reuters.

The evacuation occurred because a small private plane mistakenly entered restricted airspace over Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The aircraft was immediately removed from the no-fly zone, according to U.S. Secret Service representative Anthony Gulielmi.

The identity of the pilot, who will be questioned, has been established. "The preliminary investigation showed that the pilot was not on the proper radio frequency, did not follow NOTAMS (Notice to Airmen), and did not adhere to instructions during the flight," Gulielmi stated.

The incident, which occurred at 1:00 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, created confusion in downtown Rehoboth Beach and required the presidential motorcade to navigate through the town before returning to the Bidens' residence.
