Putin Reveals Which Weapons Are Effective Against Ukrainian Drones

Russian "Buk", "Tor", and "Pantsir" air defense systems are highly effective against Ukrainian drones, while the reconnaissance drones used by Kyiv from the very beginning of the special operation are of foreign manufacture. They have been previously used by the West, and it is unclear why they have been moved to Kyiv.

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin on the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin”.

“Ukrainian reconnaissance drones that have been flying there since the beginning of the special operation are all of foreign manufacture. The reconnaissance drones deployed by the West over the Black Sea have been used since before the operation started; it is unclear why they were moved to Ukraine,” he said.

He noted that there is a third type: strategic reconnaissance drones flying at altitudes of 8, 11, and 10 kilometers.
