VIDEO: We Should Not Ruin Relations with the Government - Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has instructed to find ways to eliminate hidden gambling advertisements. According to "Armenpress," during a government meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that despite the adoption of a law prohibiting gambling advertisements, examples of hidden gambling advertisements continue to be seen.
“Excuse me, but it shouldn’t be that the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, or other high-ranking officials have to notice and call to complain. Find ways to remove these hidden advertisements; we should not see such phenomena anywhere at all. If necessary, accept the required legislative changes. This is our principled position, and we have consistently implemented it since 2018. Considering many factors, including the requests of entrepreneurs, we have come here in phases. But let’s not get into a mode of deceiving each other. I also want to ask entrepreneurs not to engage in such activities; gather these hidden advertisements, which resemble traps, on your own initiative. And we should absolutely not spoil our relations with the government; otherwise, we will be forced to take other measures. There should be no hidden advertisements for online casinos or betting anywhere. Let’s agree on this,” emphasized Pashinyan.
