There Was a Campaign Against Me, What Happened With Tatoyan Was Not Even a Campaign. Karen Andreasian

In a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly, Armenia's Minister of Justice Karen Andreasian commented on the relationships between the head of the Anti-Corruption Committee, Sasun Khachatryan, and the Chief Prosecutor Artur Davtyan, saying, "I do not want to throw stones at former officials, but in the past, when it was necessary to remove someone, all bodies stood in a row holding hands and carried out similar actions."

In response to a remark that former Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan was not invited to government meetings when he contradicted the government's viewpoint, and that a so-called campaign had started against him, the minister responded, "Indeed, a campaign had started against me, as it is said that a campaign looks like this. What has been done with Mr. Tatoyan was not even campaign-like; there have been warm relations and support. I myself did not attend government meetings for a long time because I deemed the presence of the Ombudsman at these meetings inappropriate. Now, to my knowledge, Mr. Tatoyan himself missed some meetings for a while, after which I believe his position was taken away. This is not a campaign; if participation in the government meeting was a campaign, my term in office would have ended by now."
