Prosecutors Emerged in Political Struggle and Embraced Former Leaders

The newspaper "Hraparak" writes: On May 29, when Serzh Sargsyan visited France Square once again, he was greeted by Vahagn Muradyan, the acting military prosecutor. The official approached and greeted Serzh Sargsyan, and then embraced Sargsyan's son-in-law. Muradyan is one of the long-serving members of the prosecutor's office and had a close relationship with former Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan.

Vahagn Muradyan, the former head of the department for particularly important cases at the Prosecutor's Office, was the first in history to file a lawsuit against the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, for his dismissal (he was dismissed and appointed as the deputy military prosecutor).

In fact, the leaders of the opposition are not mistaken when they say that there is a lack of governance in the country, to the extent that prosecutors openly emerge in the political struggle and embrace the former authorities.

Details in today's issue of the newspaper.
