Announcement on a Timeout Expected in the Coming Weeks
The newspaper "Hraparak" writes: "The resistance movement, which has been ongoing for over a month despite the government's efforts, is not "wearing down". However, it is possible that in the coming days, the opposition will announce the suspension of this phase of the disobedience actions.
The political forces involved in the movement do not openly admit it, but believe that the movement needs rebranding—new messages, new faces, and new scenarios need to be developed. For this, a certain pause is required to regroup their forces.
Currently, the locomotive of the movement is the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, which is coordinating the resistance through Ishkhan Saghatelyan. Even the members of the Republican Party of Armenia do not hide the fact that they learn about the events and actions of the day at the last minute. In the first phase, when there were disagreements over the forms of the movement, Saghatelyan said, 'Let me decide; trust me, help me.'
Our sources indicate that an announcement regarding a timeout will be made in the coming weeks. Until then, the initiators of the movement will present a report on the actions taken. They believe that it is the struggle of the past months that has delayed the signing of unfavorable documents for Armenia and Artsakh, which they consider a victory for the movement.
They will also announce that the fight will take on new forms and will return to the streets if the threat escalates. Opinions on the timing of returning to the streets vary: some assert that Pashinyan will not sign any documents before autumn, while others insist that developments are progressing so rapidly that before autumn arrives, Pashinyan will hastily sign yet another treacherous document, capitalizing on the summer heat. However, there is a hypothesis that when Saghatelyan and these forces step back, new forces may attempt to take up the mantle of struggle."
